If you are going to buy an Asus G53Jw but you are in doubt between the low-resolution 3D display and the high-resolution, non 3D one, the guys at Notebookcheck can help you: they have reviewed both. All in all, the quality of the Full HD display seems not to be stellar, so the final decision is between a cheaper high-resolution display and a more expensive, low-resolution 3D display. Our French friends at Portables4Gamers have just published a review (the first one available, AFAIK) of the MSI GT663, and they give it a score of 5 stars. According to them it has the best price/performance/equipment ration in 15", so if you are looking for a gaming laptop, you should have a look! You know, these guys make some of the most complete reviews on the Net, and today they review the MSI GX660R. The score, an 83%, is good but, for Notebookcheck's standards, not great: they complain mainly about the high noise development under load and flimsy keyboard. The guys at Notebookcheck have just published a very complete review of the DevilTech HellMachine DTX, based on the Clevo X7200. This monster is, as you probably know, the first laptop sporting dual GeForce GTX 480M in SLI configuration (and at the moment the only one).
